Automotion's IDS (Intelligent Digital Servo) series of "Smart" current mode servo amplifiers incorporate the latest advancements in drive resident microprocessor technology. Coupling the benefits of digital intelligence to the reliability and safety of a UL, CSA, and IEC (min 3000 VAC Hi Pot) compliant power stage, our IDS drives are the Smart choice for OEM embedded single and multi-axis motion and machine control.

The IDS 1000 "Smart" Current Mode Intelligent Digital Servo Product Specifications
Available in 7/10, 14/20, and 21/30 cont./peak amperage ratings with convenient single source universal voltage operating inputs of 48 to 264 VAC, single phase, 50/60 Hz or 50 to 400 VDC, the new IDS series is designed for world wide OEM machine applications.

IDS drives are highly integrated, compact products (min. 6.5" X 2.9" X 10") that are EMI and reliability hardened with multi-layer PCBs and double sided surface mount construction. The IDS series is Component Recognized by UL to UL1950. In addition, they can be CE-marked to the EC Low Voltage Directive. A CB scheme certificate is available.

Reduce Inventory/Easier Set-up & Servicing
The new IDS drive series reduces inventoried product variations by allowing the user to stock one drive component which is electronically configured for each unique application on an "as needed" basis. Once configured and installed, IDS drives continue to provide valuable information about the application. Service personnel benefit from the no guess work diagnostics, which pinpoint field problems, internal or external, and shorten service calls from hours to minutes. Engineers can use the IDS status histogram to evaluate key field application parameters such as AC line quality, loading levels and operating temperatures.
