New ACE1000 Digital High Voltage Servo-Amplifiers

The ACE1000 is the newest addition to Automotion's AC "Smart" series of all digital brushless servo-amplifiers designed to provide today's OEM with maximum brushless servo performance at the lowest possible cost. The ACE1000 series utilizes the latest in DSP-based drive design architecture to provide software selectable torque, velocity, and (optional) position mode operation.

Sine wave commutation using encoder feedback provides smooth torque at low speeds for demanding motion control requirements found in robotic, direct drive, and linear motor applications. Optional software selectable trapezoidal mode allows lower cost motor commutation and velocity loop control from Hall effect feedback only motors.

Available initially in 10/20 and 18/30 cont./peak amperage ratings with convenient single source universal voltage operating inputs of 48 to 264 VAC, single phase or three phase, 50/60 Hz or 50 to 400 VDC, the new IDS series is designed for worldwide OEM applications.

Measuring just 11.1" (282mm) x 6.7" (170mm) x 4.7" (119mm) with built-in heatsink, or 11.1" (282mm) x 4.7" (119mm) x 3.2" (81mm) without heatsink, the ACE1000 was driven by design to be one of the most cost effective, space efficient, high voltage - high power digital brushless servo-amplifiers available.

Standard features include; serial drive status diagnostics, field upgradeable DSP firmware, safety compliance to EN60950, UL1950 and CSA22.2.14 standards, UL recognized and CE marked to the Low Voltage Directive, optional EMC compliance, and high capacity shunt (to 110 Watt cont., internal mounted or customer external).

ACE drives are the Smart choice for OEM embedded multi-axis motion and machine control.
